I am an agriculture and rural communities reporter for NPR affiliate KOSU and Harvest Public Media, a Midwest public media newsroom collaborative focused on food and agriculture, in Oklahoma City. I joined KOSU and Harvest Public Media as a corps member for Report for America, a national service program that places journalists in local newsrooms to report on undercovered issues and communities.

I’m a recent first-generation college graduate from the Missouri School of Journalism, where I graduated with a degree in journalism with an emphasis on radio and television reporting and producing. I started reporting at KBIA, the NPR affiliate in Columbia, Missouri, where I spent two years writing about everything from ragtime music to Missouri's legislature and disability activism

I also interned for Here & Now, NPR and WBUR’s midday news magazine show, where I pitched, reported and produced stories about a young DREAMer’s race to the Olympics and the nine-year anniversary of DACA — the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program. I also helped NPR’s NewsDesk cover the Summer 2021 Olympics

During my free time, I can be found visiting parks with my boyfriend and our one-year-old pug, Benny, binging reality television and making playlists reminiscing her disc-jockey days.
